I have owned a few pairs of Curnutts and they look like Curnutts to me. What is the length fom eye to eye? are you looking to sell them?

Yup. Curnutts.
Easy to rebuild, use off the shelf o-rings and ATF fluid.
The eye mount kits come up for sale occasionally and you can swap the upper mounts (there are two different length uppers) from shock to shock to get more length.

They work very good. Perfect for trail if they are set up right for the bike you have and your weight. Each set of shocks were tailored and set up for the individual bike and rider when they were sold, and as Andy said they are easily rebuilt with parts that are easily found. Perfect for a vintage bike. If for some reason they don't work out for you, you can always sell them to me.

I like them and have used half a dozen pairs or so.
New Works is first choice if money isnt an issue (but it always is),
older used Works is second choice,
third is Curnutt's or or Boge Mulhollands.
I use them for Vintage MX, Scrambles, and playbikes.
If you can get them for a resonable price AND the shafts are not pitted or scored, you can rebuild them and in my opinion they work great.

| The body down shaft up is the correct mounting, to adjust the spring weight just add as many 2" dia metal rings from a hardware or ag supply to get the feel you want, that's how Charles Curnutt did it. |
