Wanted to say a big thank you to the Zimmerman Bros. for putting on a first class event, the Hopetown GP reunion. Their collection of bikes is unreal, the riders who showed up, the who`s who of early MX in this country, and many of the top desert and scrambles riders from the 50` and 60`s. This event was really what vintage is all about and reminded me of my early day`s with the CVRG (now ahrma), it`s been a long time since i have had my blood flowing like this at a vintage event. It was also nice meeting members from this site in person. If they decide to do it again next year, it is a do not miss event.

Wish I could have made it, went to the AHRMA race in Chelias Wa. and didn`t get back in time. Had my AT1mx Yammie ready to display. Rode there in `67-`68 on my VanTech.

I, 2nd that all the way Dave & what an event it was. A priceless collection of works & historic racebikes, all combined with great people made for an xlnt day in Simi Valley.

Lets see, The Flying Hawaiian, Bad Brad, That "Unbreakable Fender" Guy, Super Hunky, Danny Laporte, Eddie Mulder, Grillmaster Marty Tripes, Li'l John Hateley, Greg Wheelsmith, Mike Konle, Bruce Brown, Mike Runyard, Keith Mashburn, Jim Cooke, John R, Donnie Holeshot Hanson, & the list goes on & on.

and To the Z Bros, if your reading this . . . It was truly a 1st class event you guys & your crew hosted.
