After hearing that Marty Smith was going to be up at Barona attending one of CALVMX's races, I decided to take the one hour trip up to Ramoma to see some old friends and take some photos, in an attempt to improve my photography skills.

Whether it's taking photos of Labor Marches, Tea Party Events, flying around in a B-17 (very cool and highly recommended), flower photography, or just about anything where I take a photo, I learn something.

Today was no different and tried out a cool panning technique I read in a book. The result is to the right. Really neat when you can replicate a technique offered up by the pros.

Anyway, I took around 1400 photos, mostly all keepers and I'll post them here as time permits.
