| Up for sale is a trick little 1979 Yamaha YZ 80. It has a DG head, DG pipe, Luft shock, Pro-Fab arm, Pro-tec air caps and chain tensioner, Terry fork dampening rods, original DG cross bar pad, very nice port work, etc……. All the bearings and seals have been replaced on the bike. The picture does not show it but the bike has a freshly restored tank on it that was painted perfectly and looks excellent! The bike is non matching numbers bike. It was ran just when it was new to slightly break it in but it just sits under a cover now. It looks great, runs great. This is marked 2/27/11 (I measure 27mm on the venturi)
What I believe this is - a 27mm from a Zundapp MX 125.
The Rickman/Zundapp I had came stock wiith a 26 and I was told the 27 was a common performance udgrade. The Monark 125 MX used a 27 stock.
Consider it body only as it is missing the floats and slide. I do have the rubber top cover.
